“Lemony Snicket” by Nom Nomz

I had read a few reviews on here for Nom Nomz and they sounded amazing. It’s also really good to see a company like this emerge from our very own Northern Ireland. So when I had the chance to go to a Nom Nomz launch event, I was very eager. I got to sample their whole range and quite honestly, not one of their juices was disappointing. I came away with 5 bottles (which are not far off empty after just 5 days!) and I’m going to review two of them including this one, “Lemony Snicket”.

Nom Nomz juices are available in 3 and 6mg nicotine. The VG/PG ratio is 80/20.

The manufacturer’s description of this juice is – “A zingy lemon sponge cake with a middle layer of thick cream, finished off with a lemon frosting drizzle…nom nom

My set up is as follows:

  • Royal Hunter RDA
  • Dual fused clapton – 9 wraps – Coming out at 0.62Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Noisy Cricket

This juice comes in a 30ml dropper bottle. It is also available in 100ml plastic bottles. I really love the colour scheme and the labeling of this brand. It is minimalism but still interesting and eye catching. I personally find the 30ml bottle quite difficult to squeeze (I haven’t tried the 100ml so I can’t comment on that one) I think the plastic is very slightly too thick for my liking. It does help to avoid over dripping in an RDA but I imagine it would be annoying when filling a tank.

“Lemony Snicket” gives very little away upon opening the bottle. The only scent I can pick up is biscuity and slightly sweet. It is enough to convince you to jump in and give it a go.

I found the inhale with this juice to be quite bland, no particular flavour stood out to me. However, my disappointment didn’t last long.

Exhale – This is where the magic happens! There is a real warmth to this juice, reminiscent of a freshly baked sponge. The lemon isn’t overwhelming or too bitter. You can just feel the sharpness of it cutting through the cake flavour without taking anything away from it. Towards the end of the exhale and into the aftertaste, you start to notice the creaminess. It is a lovely addition but you don’t really notice it until the initial hit of lemon and cakiness starts to fade.

It is fairly safe, in a good way, in that it does nothing to offend anyone and I would quite happily vape on it all day. I don’t know if this is just me or if we all go through this, but after trying as many juices as I have, I find myself looking for e-liquid that is just that little bit different. I didn’t really find that in this one but as a cakey, lemony vape, it is perfect.

The vapour production is great and the flavour is strong and well balanced. Definitely one worth trying.
