“Emperors Custard” by Rising Sun

Having grown tired of tasteless and expensive juice. The Emperor decided to create his own unique juice line to keep the growing number of warriors content within the RISING SUN.

Rising sun have been kind enough to send a few of their liquids for review.

Their juices are available in 0,3 and 6mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 70/30.

I really like the description for “Emperors Custard” – One of the Emperor’s favourite pastimes is strolling in the gardens of his ancestors, with his silken kimono dancing in the breeze, next to where the blueberries grow wild. Yearning for the taste of a custard, his royal chefs combined a creamy, rich vanilla custard with blueberries picked from the Emperor’s personal garden! Thus making a royal favourite!

My set-up is as follows:

  • Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
  • Dual flat twisted – 3mm – 9 wraps – Coming out at 0.30 ohms
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Snow wolf 200w – Set to 125w

This juice comes in a 15ml plastic bottle. It is also available in 30ml. The labelling is interesting and informative although the handwritten details do make it seem a little unprofessional. The nicotine content and the VG/PG ratio are clearly written along with an expiration date.

There isn’t much smell from “Emperors Custard”, There is a slight chemical scent.

Inhale – Not detecting a huge amount of flavour on the inhale. I can pick up some creaminess and a slight sharpness.

Exhale – The full creaminess unfolds at this point. It is sweet and gives a feeling of warmth. Towards the end of the exhale, the sharper taste of blueberries begins to cut through. The aftertaste is creamy and sort of sticky.

In conclusion – This is a good custard e-liquid. The taste is pleasant and the vapour production is impressive. The downside is that you could be vaping on almost any custard e-liquid. It doesn’t really have any qualities that make it stand in the very crowded custard category. I wouldn’t advise anyone against this juice but it isn’t one I’m likely to rave about either.
