Devon’s Finest is a small British e-liquid manufacturer. They have been kind enough to send us four of their juice for review. This is the first of those four reviews.
“Devon’s Crunch” is available in 0,3 and 6mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 60/40.
The main flavours, as described by Devon’s finest, are sweetened oats, milk and sugar.
My set-up is as follows:
- Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
- Dual flat twisted – 3mm – 9 wraps – Coming out at 0.30 ohms
- Wicked with Rayon
- Snow wolf 200w – Set to 125w
This juice comes in a 10ml plastic bottle. It is also available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. The label includes a simple image of a cloudy sky. The nicotine strength is shown with a hand drawn tick, the VG/PG ratio is present in the small print. The brand name is clear, however, the name of the juice was only present on an additional printed label stuck to the bottle. It was a little messy looking but it’s what’s inside that really matters.
Despite the manufacturers description, I can smell coconut from this liquid. It smells like a “Nice” biscuit, but let’s see how it tastes.
Inhale – This is quite a confusing e-liquid. Until I read the description I was sure it was a coconut based flavour, but once I read it I could make out a porridge like taste on the inhale.
Exhale – This is a sweet, creamy porridge taste. Im still insistent that it contains coconut but either way it is delicious. The aftertaste is sweet and sticky feeling and definitely leaves you feeling like you want to vape more of it.
In conclusion – This would make a great ADV, it is flavorful but subtle. The sweetness is well balanced so that your taste buds won’t get bored with it. Vapour production would be described as average. All in all, I would certainly recommend it. I don’t think it would be offensive to anyone. And at 30ml for £4 you can’t really go wrong. “Devon’s Crunch” has left me looking forward to reviewing the rest of the range.
