Caramel Corpse, a cheeky play on the band Cannibal Corpse, presents itself as quite a bitter dark chocolate, a creaminess akin to an Irish cream with the caramel adding a little sweetness on top. when you remove the cap. Unlike most 0mg liquids I have tasted, Caramel Corpse is a deep, caramel colour as opposed to a clear liquid. Overall setting up the expectation to be an intense experience.
The first few puffs present the dark chocolate first and foremost, the slight bitterness of the dark chocolate topped with a creaminess that takes the edge off the bitterness. Unfortunately, the dark chocolate is very overpowering. The Caramel is only really evident on the retro hale.
Unfortunately, the flavour doesn’t seem to develop further from there, further down the tank it’s still a very chocolately taste. Kicking up the wattage and getting a little more heat into it allows the flavour to mellow out, the caramel peaking through.
This definitely seems like a flavour that would work a lot better on a dripper than a tank and while it isn’t unpleasant, it might be a bit rich for some folk. While I did enjoy it, I would love to be able to sit and properly taste the full range of flavours without the dark chocolate being so overpowering.
