White Gummi by Moku Oyatsu

Hello, and welcome to another liquid review from the Belfast Vape Bar. Today I will be reviewing a liquid called White Gummi made by the guys at Moku Oyatsu. This is a take on the popular white gummy bear. it comes in 0mg ,3mg, and 6mg in a 70/30 VG/PG ratio. This liquid cost $60 and comes in six 30ml unicorn bottles for a total of 180ml of liquid.

WHITE GUMMI | Is very delicious. The Original White Gummi is found mixed with it’s sweet and colorful bear friends. So alluring and the aroma so gentle and mellow. Enjoy the taste of Moku Oyatsu’s White Gummi, the soft and chewy candy cloud.

So let’s get straight to it. For this review, I will be using the following:

  • Reuleax 2/3
  • Kennedy 25mm RDA
  • East Side Custom Coils fused Clapton running at 80w

The ingredients and warnings are nicely spaced out and easy to read. The bottles have a very well designed label with a quality nozzle that dispenses the liquid very well.

Opening the lid and taking a smell I was greeted with a very authentic gummy smell this Is spot on in terms of being realistic in smell. So let’s get this dripped onto fresh cotton and see how it vapes.

The Packaging – the box the liquid come in is beautiful there is a lot of detail in the design of the box it almost put me in mind off a perfume box or something similar and gives that feeling of a premium item. The bottles are fantastic, the fact this company has supplied the liquid in unicorn bottles gives me joy that they have thought about convenience for the vaper the label is very nice and has all the warnings needed.

The Inhale – on the inhale there is a very fruity candy taste which made my mouth water, not too sweet but is actually surprisingly subtle on the inhale. The flavour has just the right amount of sweet and not riddled with sugar sweetener.

The Exhale – the exhale has a bit more substance to it, there is a very potent pineapple flavour which is very nice with a mild creamy taste and so much more I can’t put my finger on. The gummy flavour is defiantly there this is a really good liquid and a must try.

Would I buy this liquid again?

From receiving this liquid I have been very impressed with the accuracy off the flavour and how easy it is to drain a 30ml and be left wanting more. The liquid is an investment but is one that will pay off! This product has rightfully taken its place in my top ten so yes I will buy again.

“Soft Mint” by Cloud Corp

Before I start this review off, I should make it clear that I have already been long won over by Cloud Corp as a result of their Red Keep e-liquid – one of their popular Seven Kingdoms line. To read my full evaluation of that flavour and for more background information on the company itself, click HERE. Red Keep has remained my ADV since publishing that review, so you can perhaps see why I hold extremely high expectations of Cloud Corp and their products.

It was never my intention (nor, I assume, of Cloud Corp’s) to review their Soft Mint flavour. Hailing from their Essentials line – and with no bells or whistles attached to the product’s name – it is evident that this e-liquid seeks to market itself solely on the single requirement that it tastes like what it’s supposed to. Even the manufacturer’s description for Soft Mint is arguably one of the least pretentious product descriptions that I have ever read (and, as a reviewer, I’ve read many):

“A good representation of the popular soft mint.”

And that’s it. So, before moving on, can we all take a moment to show our appreciation for an e-liquid description that does not represent an enthusiastic fumble with a thesaurus? Nothing irritates me more than reading a complicated product description that leaves me with little clue as to what the flavour could represent – only to then discover that what could have been e-liquid caviar was, in fact, cheap banana. In our case of Soft Mint, I think we can all agree that we’ll know exactly what to expect.

After trying Soft Mint on a visit to Cloud Corp’s shop in Coleraine, I can confirm that my tastebuds were absolutely astounded by the accuracy of this flavour. If you were to close your eyes and take a sniff of the e-liquid, you truly wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and an actual soft mint – the resemblance is uncanny.

Cloud Corp created and produced Soft Mint in direct response to their customer feedback – in particular, those customers who had only recently been introduced to the world of vaping. Many new vapers are drawn towards menthol e-liquids, owing to the throat hit and freshness that they provide. However, in comparison to the muted flavour that starter kits and mouth-to-lung tanks offer, this aspect of menthol e-liquids quickly becomes unforgiving when used in sub-ohm/high wattage set-ups. Thus, it isn’t surprising that purely menthol flavours tend to be much less popular amongst the wider vaper community as a whole.

Where Soft Mint differs from conventional menthol flavours, then, is in its greater depth of taste and actual flavour. There is a hint of sweetness to offset the bitterness of the mint – and this is where it becomes a much more enjoyable and enduring flavour. I have enjoyed vaping Soft Mint over the course of an entire day and haven’t grown sick of it at all. Personally, I recommend using this flavour in a tank as opposed to a dripping-based atomizer; I’ve also found that by closing off my airflow slightly, the flavour is much more pronounced and lacks any harshness. I’ve been vaping this at 3mg, but Cloud Corp also offers this at higher nicotine strengths (6, 12 and 18mg to be precise).

As I mentioned above, I didn’t expect to be reviewing a product from Cloud Corp’s Essential line – but then again, I didn’t expect to be so impressed with Soft Mint. It’s the first time that I can strongly recommend a single flavour to both new and experienced vapers alike. For those who are new: Soft Mint is a slightly more adventurous – yet with no nasty surprises – next step into a world of enjoyable flavours. For those who have been in the game for longer: Soft Mint is a delightful flavour for your collection that is simple, honest and a welcome retreat from the complex layering of more complicated mixes.

Cloud Corp have, again, produced an outstanding product that demonstrates exactly what it is that we require from manufacturers: a keen attention to the needs and desires of the customer. In this case, they have most certainly hit the mark.

The official website for Cloud Corp is now live and this juice is available or online purchase!

“Raspberry Candy” by You Got E-Juice

Today, I’m excited to be bringing you a review of an e-liquid from a brand that I have not tried out before – You Got E-Juice. Based in California, USA, You Got E-Juice aim to make premium e-liquids at an affordable price – indeed, their slogan states that they’re ‘making vaping affordable for everyone.’ In the present market, especially with the TPD directive looming over us, this is an ethos that we welcome.

The manufacturer clearly states that they only use quality ingredients in their products and have no unnecessary additives or colourings included. They also take care to sell only to those of appropriate age, with an age-verification requirement on their website (as in, actually requiring photographic ID as proof) for residents living in certain ares. This is an initiative that we strongly commend and would encourage other manufacturers and vendors to follow suit.

So, the flavour that I am trying out today for review is ‘Raspberry Candy’. This is one of 29 flavours that You Got E-Juice have available – a huge line by any manufacturer’s standards. One caveat that I have found in the past is that the more flavours a manufacturer offers, the less attention to detail they have for each one. However, You Got E-Juice appear to have carefully crafted each of these flavours and have proudly labelled each as a premium e-liquid. All of their products are made up at a VG/PG ratio of 70:30 and are available at nicotine strengths of 0, 3 and 6mg.

The packaging of the product is functional and the necessary information is clearly presented. As you can see from the image above, the bottle is of a more-than-decent size. I got this in 120ml, but you can also purchase bottles of 60ml and a whopping 240ml. The pricing of their products – considering the sizes here – is extremely attractive (although obviously, for those of us in the UK, the sizes are not something that we’ll be able to avail of for much longer).

You Got E-Juice market Raspberry Candy as, ‘A Raspberry Hard Candy enhanced with sweet strawberries and wild blueberries.’ Thankfully this – as with the rest of their product descriptions – is clear and succinct. One of my biggest annoyances is when a flavour is described in such a vague and baffling way that, after reading it, you’re left even more bewildered about what the e-liquid could possibly taste like.

The image above was taken when the product was received – I can safely say that there is less than even a quarter of the bottle left at present. It is so good as an all day vape, which is not at all what I had expected from a candy-based flavour. The taste, on the exhale, reminds me exactly of hard-boiled, strawberry and cream sweets. Certainly, the strawberry is the stronger note at this point, with the creamy texture adding to the overall flavour. The tartness of the raspberry is much more prominent on the inhale, but it is mellowed somewhat by the softer blueberry – so as to not become too sharp a draw. Overall, this combination of refreshing fruit and the creamy overnotes serve to make this a consistent flavour that is difficult to tire of. You Got E-Juice do recommend steeping their products upon delivery, but I jumped straight in and so the flavour has only become more and more rounded as I’ve worked my way down the bottle.

This flavour certainly gets a seal of approval – and so do You Got E-Juice for delivering on their promise of premium flavours at more than affordable prices. They have established themselves well within social media outlets and I would recommend that if you haven’t already heard of them, that you check them out. If the rest of their line is as enjoyable as Raspberry Candy, then you’ll definitely find something there that’ll keep your taste buds happy.

“Bubble Gang” OG Bubba by Ōkmi Brand

Ōkvmi (Pronounced okami) was founded in 2013 in Las Vegas Nevada, USA as a lifestyle brand and also a boutique, graphic design agency.

‘Bubble Gang: OG BUBBA’ by ŌKVMI is handcrafted in Las Vegas, and this is the first liquid to be released in the line (which will have 4 liquids once all released). OKVMI have other lines of high-quality liquid, which are also in the pipeline to be reviewed. So now, let’s get down to business.

OG BUBBA is available in 0, 3, 6 and 9mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 70/30, coming in a 60ml bottle. This liquid costs $26.00 + postage.

For this review I am using the following hardware:

  • Sigelei 213
  • Doge v3 by Congrevape
  • With a dual Clapton build running at 60w

The packaging for this product has plenty of detail and is definitely eye-catching to say the least. The ingredients and warnings are nicely spaced out and easy to read – and the extensive time that has clearly been spent on the detail and artwork of the box is impressive. Let’s hope the liquid can do it justice. The bottle has a very nice look to it with an eye-catching label to match, along with a quality dripper that holds the juice very well.

Taking a smell when I first opened the bottle made me very excited to try the liquid straight away. You are instantly hit with beautiful notes of clean watermelon and bubblegum – although the watermelon definitely smells like the more dominant flavour.

The Inhale – on the inhale you get a very smooth taste of watermelon that does not disappoint. It’s just the right amount of flavour – not overwhelming – but personally, I would have preferred a more direct flavour. Despite this, it certainly is refreshing nonetheless.

The Exhale – the exhale is where this juice comes alive. When exhaling the combination of watermelon and bubblegum is perfect. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to leave you asking for more. The bubble-gum is very pleasant and sets the watermelon off well; this is one of many combinations when it comes to the infamous gum-flavoured liquids but I do believe that ŌKVMI have nailed this one perfectly,=. The light notes of the bubble gum and watermelon make this liquid a very balanced ADV.

Would I buy this Product? Absolutely. To date, this is definitely the nicest bubble-gum liquid that I have come across.

“King’s Landing” by Seven Kingdoms

Last week, Belfast Vape Bar reviewers Shakey and Stevo went on a little vaping adventure to Coleraine to check out some of the stores. Cloud Corp Vaping was the final stop on the journey. The company started off originally as a lab for producing their house blend and the Seven Kingdoms line but later they guys decided to utilize the additional space and open a store as well.

When we arrived at the store, we were a little confused as it was situated in the middle of an industrial estate! However, once we went inside the unit has been very well converted into a shop front with the lab at the rear of the store. This line in particular caught my eye due to the not so subtle references to an extremely successful show that actually has parts filmed near the store in Northern Ireland.

The folks at Cloud Corp Vaping were kind enough to supply us with a few flavours from the Seven Kingdoms line for us to review. Today we’re reviewing Kings Landing which the blenders describe as “Butterscotch Caramels and a few Creams” The Seven Kingdoms line is mixed in small batches on site and has a 60/40 VG high ratio.

For this review we are using the following hardware:

  • Twisted Messes Mod @ 100w
  • Smok TFV8 w/0.15Ω V8-T8 coil

Taking an initial sniff from the bottle before moving on to the tasting reveals a nice sweet caramel aroma with buttery notes lingering in the background.

The Inhale – Being a 60/40 VG high blend, this is an ideal ratio for use in a tank based atomizer. We recently picked up the Smok TFV8 from CLR Vape in Belfast and we’re using the V8-T8 coil head. A very rich buttery inhale with King’s Landing with the same sweet caramel from the initial sniff.

The Exhale – A well-rounded vape, the butterscotch and caramel blend perfectly, at 100w there is a fair amount of vapour from this juice. Think of those individually wrapped caramel hard sweets, melt them down, add some VG is the best way to describe this!

Would I buy this product?

It’s a yes! We were able to sample the Seven Kingdoms range at the Cloud Corp Vaping store and after trying this I actually bought another two bottles on the spot. This is just the first of this line we received for review so be sure to keep an eye on the Belfast Vape Bar Facebook Page and the website for more reviews.

The official website for Cloud Corp is now live and this juice is available or online purchase!

“MFPB” by Vapergate

Vapergate are probably best known for the Alliance V1 and V2, and the new Mason RDA (Reviews coming shortly) but today I am reviewing a flavour from their range of juices, “MFPB”.

It is available in 0,1.5,3,6,12mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 80/20. I am using 1.5mg for this review

The manufacturers description is – “Imagine the inside of a Reese’s Pieces candy. The organic taste of peanuts matched with a deliciously sweet cream sidekick

My set up is as follows:

  • Royal Hunter RDA
  • Dual Hive 30g kanthal w/ 5 wraps – Coming out at 0.25Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Wismec RX200- Set to 100w

This juice comes in a 30ml glass dropper bottle. It is also available in 60ml and 120ml bottles. The label is bold and clear, the name takes centre stage with the producer above in a lighter text. The nicotine content is shown but the VG/PG ratio is not stated.

Opening the bottle and having a smell, it’s a very subtle smell, slight hint of peanut. Nothing overpowering or off-putting at this point.

Inhale –  Again, as with the smell test it’s a subtle peanut flavour at this point. It’s only when the vapour hits the back of your throat that the flavour begins to unfold.  No sign of the creaminess mentioned but I did get a slightly salty sensation across the roof of my mouth, just like I had licked some peanut butter off a spoon.

Exhale – The flavour really comes alive on the exhale. The slightly creamy and salty taste of peanut butter makes itself known. “MFPB” leaves a pleasant aftertaste in your mouth that slowly fades leaving you wanting that hit all over again.

In conclusion –  I would recommend this juice for anyone looking for something a bit different from the ‘normal’ sweet flavours. At this point the only savoury e-liquids I would have used would have been tobacco based. This is a good alternative and is a great accompaniment to a beer. The subtle deliciousness makes this a great ADV. “MFPB” produces a dense, satisfying cloud that smells like a snickers bar. I will continue to use this one and given the collection of e-liquids I own, this is a real compliment!

“Planet Jupiter” by MEO Ejuice

I often refuse e-liquids that are fruit-based - normally with the excuse of, "Thanks but, I'm actually more of a custard person..." (which, outside of vaping circles, really makes no sense whatsoever). The e-liquid that I'm reviewing for you today, however, IS a fruit-based flavour. One sniff of Planet Jupiter from the bottle and I was intrigued - this stuff doesn't smell like cheap berries or synthetic strawberries. It almost smells like sherbet, but not in an overpowering way. With memories of childhood sweets being conjured up, I excitedly got straight down to business - totally forgetting that I'm not supposed to like these flavours. And so, I'm excited to be bringing you this review of a wholly fruity e-liquid - and I think that if you're like me and haven't ventured too far away from creamy, custardy flavours, you'll want to read on.

Firstly, a bit about the company. MEO Ejuice are a Canadian company that hail from Caledon, Ontario. They have a number of lines of Ejuice - as well as MEO, they are also the creators of MILK e-liquids and the RL Signature Series. Now, if you are a bit like myself and like to question the logic behind everything, you were probably wondering why an image of earth's greatest symbol - the humble tree - is planted on the front of a bottle of e-liquid that goes by the name of Planet Jupiter. The reasoning behind this - well, what I presume the tree means - is that MEO is an organic line of e-liquids; they are free from artificial flavourings, artificial additives or sweeteners, food colouring and DAP (Diacetyl or Acetyl Propionyl). This is more than welcome news for those of us who are mindful of what actually goes into the juices that we are using.

I opted to try Planet Jupiter out at a strength of 3mg, but it is also available at strengths of 0mg, 6mg and 12mg. The VG:PG ratio of this product (and the rest of the e-liquids in the MEO line) is 70/30.

MEO Ejuice describe Planet Jupiter's flavour as a 'berry blast in the mouth', with 'a very light blueberry undertone overtaken by Swedish berries, ripe strawberries and pomegranate and finished with a light cream.' Now I know I said this wasn't creamy and - believe me - it isn't in comparison to what I usually go for. But it IS the only entirely fruit-based flavour that I've fallen in love with so far, so maybe there is just enough of a hint of creaminess in the exhale to tide me over.

The overwhelming flavour of Planet Jupiter, for me, is the taste of Swedish berries. I don't mean actual berries from Sweden, but the gummy sweets sold under the name of Swedish Berries (although, if they're called Swedish Berries they MUST taste like berries from Sweden... Right? Am I right here?!). What I'm referring to is a really, fruity gum and this is exactly why Planet Jupiter reminds me of all those sugary sweets from when I was a kid. Except, now I can vape this and my teeth are not being sacrificed for the enjoyment of the flavour. Hurrah!

As you can probably assume, I've been head over heels for this. It is a very, very sweet e-liquid so it may be a bit too much for some of you who like the more mellow flavours. However, I personally have not found it to be sickening at all after prolonged use - it's more of a 'delicate' sweetness that doesn't overwhelm. The flavour is pure and authentic - and I'm especially impressed that the manufacturer has avoided the taste coming across as overly artificial.

So, if you are after something very fruity, fun and authentic - give Planet Jupiter a try. The smell of this e-liquid alone is amazing. And the flavour of Planet Jupiter is somewhat out of this world. Pun intended.

“Refreshers” by Hodges Home Brew

Refreshers is available in 0, 3, 6, 12 and 18mg nicotine. You can choose from two VG/PG ratios. 50/50 or 70/30. Today I am using 3mg with a 70/30 ratio.

Hodges Home Brew’s description of this juice is – “This is the original lemon flavour sweet with the sherbet centre that was a very popular choice back when I was a child, but trust us here at Hodges there is nothing old fashioned about this juice, and the dentist won’t be needed if you have to much, so enjoy this juice as part of your all day vape or as an occasional treat, your decision! One thing we know about this juice people who use it come back time and time again.”

I am a huge fan of Hodges Home Brew. The only flavour out of their massive range that I don’t like is coffee heaven but me and coffee e-liquids just don’t get on. I’m hoping this juice will match the expectations that their previous juices have built up.

My set-up is as follows:

  • Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
  • Dual quad twisted 26g kanthal – 5 wraps – Coming out at 0.13Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Snow wolf 200w – Set to 149w

This juice comes in a 30ml square glass dropper bottle. It is also available in 100ml plastic bottles. The square bottles really help this brand to stand out. The labelling is minimalistic and informative. It also includes the date that your juice has been bottled, along with the signature of the bottler! It’s a very nice touch.

On opening the bottle, I am greeting by a mouthwatering smell that instantly whisks me back to my childhood! I’d spend some more time smelling it but I can’t wait any longer to try it.

Inhale – The lemon taste is instantly recognizable as a Refresher Bar. There is no better way to describe it.

Exhale – A beautiful sherbet taste and a fizzy sensation are unleashed on the exhale. If you hadn’t already worked out the Refresher’s link by now, there is no mistaking it at this point. It’s so close a match that your jaws will start to ache with the memories of time spent chewing those bars. A slight fizz is left behind on the tongue along with a fresh lemon after taste, that is if you can wait long enough between vapes to let the aftertaste develop!

In conclusion – Rarely will you find an e-liquid that delivers what it claims to be as accurately as Hodges Home Brew “Refreshers”. My conclusion is, if you like Refresher Bars, you need to get this juice. If you don’t like Refresher bars, you should probably give this one a miss. And if you really, really like Refresher Bars, like me, order three bottles and they will give you another one free! There is nothing this vaper likes more than free stuff!

Thanks for reading.

“PopDeez” By Steep Vapors

This juice really appealed to the child in me. As well as receiving 30ml of e-liquid, you also get a surprise in the box! In my case, they included a really nice drip tip.

It is available in 0,3,6 and 12mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 60/40.

The Blenders describe PopDeez as “awesome caramel popcorn flavour e-liquid.

My set-up is as follows:

  • Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
  • Dual quad twisted 26g kanthal – 5 wraps – 0.13Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Snow wolf 200w – Set to 149w

This juice comes in a 30ml glass dropper bottle. The label is attractive, with an inoffensive colour scheme. The nicotine level is included in the image but there is no mention of VG/PG ratio.

The bottle comes in a matching box that holds the aforementioned surprise!

I have to note here that when I first received this, it smelled, looked and tasted extremely freshly made. There was no flavour to the liquid at all and it still had a chemical type smell. I left the bottle opened for about 48 hours and then replaced the lid and waited a week to try it. The results in this review are based on my vaping it around a month after it first arrived. Even now there is a slight chemical smell to the juice but I don’t imagine it will change much at this point.

Inhale – There is very little flavour detected on the inhale, perhaps a slight creaminess.

Exhale – The caramel and something reminiscent of popcorn do appear on the exhale but it is very subtle. It’s certainly not unpleasant but I think, in a tank, you would struggle to taste anything at all. I switched to the single air hole cap for the Petri at this point and the flavour became a little more condensed but no more prominent.

In conclusion – I’m not sure I would recommend this juice to anyone who didn’t find other e-liquids to be over-flavoured. With a 60/40 VG-PG ratio it wouldn’t be great for cloud chasers either. The vapour production is average. The free surprise gift makes for exciting vape mail but it would appear to be a gimmick to help sell a sub-par e-liquid.

“Skitts” by Anon Juice

Anon Juice Baner

Hello again, it’s time for another juice review from UK based Blenders Anon Juice.

We have previously reviewed their Vaper’s Tongue remedy “Refresh” which was an awesome little vape. We will see if other products in their range maintain the same quality.

Today we will be reviewing “Skitts” which the blenders describe as:

“The rainbow you seek, a desirable treat, mellow yet unique, clouds so sweet.”

For this review we’ll using the following hardware:

Like all of the 15ml line of liquids in the Anon Juice line “Skitts” is presented in a sleek matt, frosted bottle with the company logo. Each flavour will have said logo in a colour scheme which best emphasizes the flavour. Also included on the label are all of the necessary warning markings and list of ingredients.

The Anon Juice products come in a 60VG/40PG ratio and are available in 0, 3, 6 and 12mg Nicotine strengths.

Lid Up – Straight away you are greeted with a very sweet fruity aroma, very similar to that of a certain red bag of sweets.

Skitts taste the….. meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light.

This juice smells divine! Time for the taste test, with a fresh build in the Moonshot RDTA.

The Inhale – There is almost a fizz-like experience with the inhale with a pleasantly sweet mixed fruit taste. With just the slightest throat hit. “Skitts” is definitely very moreish.

The exhale however puts a lot more emphasis into a citrus flavour, particularly with lemon being the most distinguishable note. If you’re a fan of the sweets that this product is doing a very fine job of emulating, you will love “Skitts” personally since first opening the juice I haven’t been able to put it down.

With the Moonshot RDTA only having a 2ml capacity, it has been filled over and over again with this juice just so I can get another sweet hit! Now it’s gone and I hate everything!

Would I buy this product? Absolutely! Even better with it being available in a 100ml bottle which is available from Anon Juice themselves (see link below) which again are based in the UK and quite a few online based vendors which are just a Google search away!
