“Bloodbath” by Gwar Fluids

Manufacturer’s Description: ” A powerful tropical fruit blend specially designed to satisfy the bloodlust of every scumdog in the universe. ”

Statistics: Gwar Fluids “Bloodbath” by Mount Baker Vapour, Available in 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg and 24mg strengths, Available in 30ml bottles, 50%PG/60%VG.

Vaping statistics: 0mg in strength, vaped on a Kangertech Subtank Mini w/ RBA+, 8 wrap, 26 AWG Stainless Steel 0.40Ω coil mounted on the Smok X Cube Mini @ a range of wattages between 15 to 30 Watts.

How metal is this? A line of liquids in the name of GWAR, what’s not to love!?

Brand name aside, the curious cursory sniff greeted the author with an oddly sweet, almost sickly sweetness, a bright clear tropical fruit flavour. Despite the sickly sweetness, it smells rather inviting.

The opening puffs of this liquid are the exact opposite unfortunately, it’s sickly, synthetic and offensively chemical-y tasting. While it tastes of tropical fruits and unfortunately, is rather synthetic tasting which is an absolute disappointment.

So, having sat through the whole tank full, tweaking air-flow and wattages, trying to find a sweet spot for this liquid, like so many liquids have and it constantly evaded me and, in the end, I was simply unable to enjoy this liquid.

A tank down and we have to deal with the question of “Could I recommend this liquid?” and the answer I keep coming to is “No”. I couldn’t suggest this to anyone seeking a tropical fruits flavoured liquid.

“Gorilla Trigger” by Button Junkie

Hello again comrades!

Today I received a new juice to review and pretty excited about it!

Let’s get started!! The liquid this time is named Gorilla Trigger made by Button Junkie. Blenders description of this juice:

“With sweet and juicy pineapple set off against a rich, moist, buttery cake producing a gentle and exquisite balance, this juice is truly an intoxicating and refreshing flavour combination.”

From observing the site, this fine number comes in two sizes, 15ml and 30ml with a range of nicotine strengths that come in 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, 6mg. The strength I have been supplied with is 3mg and 70/30 vg/pg ratio that stays the same throughout their line.

The label and artwork on this product is fantastic! Really funky looking and if you saw this while in your local b&m, it would be certainly attract you to it before finding out the flavour profile! Which will then be a deal clencher! The label features a cartoon-like gorilla tastefully picking his nose and wielding a gun in a really “up yours” animated way!

The hardware I’m using for this review is my wismec rx200 and uwell crown on the 0.25 coil

Lid Up – I’m hit with a rich pineapple scent and an underlying tone of a sponge cake freshly baked and drizzled with sweetness.

Inhale – It’s a very sweet inhale, almost as if you’re drinking the left over pineapple juice that comes on your pineapple rings tin!……Don’t judge me it’s not just me who does it!

Exhale – After that beautiful inhale, the exhale really finishes this off! The rich buttery base really shows itself on the exhale with that pineapple backing it would easily be a satisfying all day vape!

Conclusion – Would I buy this? Yes but would have to be in big quantity’s as this 15ml sample has lasted me two hours! Can’t put it down! A slight con if you can call it that, I would like it to have seen it with a custard element included to just leave a warm finish aftertaste that will lurk on the ole taste buds.

Thanks for reading the review and thanks to Button Junkie for providing me with this sample!

“Mandrake” by Decadent Vapours

Manufacturer’s Description: ” A secret garden blend conjured from wormwood, star anise and apple, with a pinch of the peculiar.”

Statistics: Sundial by Decadent Vapours., Available in 0%, 0.3%, 0.6%, 1.2% and 1.8% strengths, Available in 15ml bottles , 40%PG/60%VG.

Vaping statistics: 0mg strength, vaped on a Kangertech Subtank Mini w/ RBA+, 8 wrap, 26 AWG Stainless Steel 0.40Ω coil mounted on the Smok X Cube Mini @ a range of wattages between 15 to 30 Watts.

“A pinch of the peculiar”?. A rather odd description of an e liquid. In this review we are going to be

covering Sundial, the last liquid in the line Decadent were polite enough to supply us with. Once again, kudos to them in regards to the packaging. It’s simply done but it’s done well.

This peculiarly blue liquid immediately gives an oddly sweet, very aniseed-y scent, reminding me of a packet of cough sweets. There is a slight apply topping to it.

The first few puffs of this liquid certainly were, to use Decadent’s own word, “Peculiar”. My noting of the similarities between the bottle note of this liquid and cough sweets was quite correct. My usual low wattage initial tasting of this liquid tasted exactly like a cough sweet, a warm, herby, syrupy taste, even down to the syrupy sensation left in the mouth and throat.

Towards the end of the tank and at higher wattages, it becomes offensively aniseed-y, like a really, really strong cough sweet. Unfortunately it was this point I had to put it down. The aftertaste from this liquid does become rather obscene, this in combination with the weird “coating” sensation it leaves in the mouth results the aftertaste lingering for quite some time. Highly unpleasant.

So, would I recommend this? Well. If you are suffering from a cold and want to vape away on something that might trick you into feeling a little better, try this. If you can eat cough sweets casually, try this. If you want something you can sit and savour…I would avoid it.

“Crack Panda” by Button Junkie

Manufacturers Description:

A mouth-watering explosion of yummy apricots, peaches and other tantalizing tropical fruits. This is a superb juice that delivers continuous vaping pleasure all day long.

Snapback’s, beards, graffiti graphics and premium juice – the guys at Button Junkie have really hit the nail on the head with their branding. They have perfectly encapsulated what their target consumer is all about and are unashamably being who they want to be in an industry of copycats and mimics.

Button Junkie have hand-crafted four mouth-watering juices that will tempt and tantalize any vapor’s tastebuds. This captivating collection is available in both 15ml & 30ml glass bottles with a tempting blend ratio of 30% PG, 70% VG, proving the perfect balance to what they claim are four wonderful flavours – let’s see about that. They have always been disappointed with what has been advertised as “premium juice” and that’s why from the very beginning Button Junkie set out to create exceptional flavours from right here in the UK.

Today I’ve been tasked with giving my honest opinion on “Crack Panda” by BJ, so let’s get into it. (sidenote: I never thought I’d be a BJ reviewer, but alas, it’s one of the perks of the job)

Aesthetically the bottle is modern and simplistic, no fuss to be had here. We have a vibrant label, a unique oblong bottle shape and a great functioning dropper. My only criticism would be a lack of safety/hazard logos, the risks are explained in small black lettering, however. Nicotine strength, batch number and best before date are easily readable.

I get a slightly chemical smell when I open the bottle for the first time; which isn’t a great start to the non-visual aspect of the juice. Having let it sit for a few minutes the smell develops really well. No more chemicals, all tropical fruits. Proof that good things come to those who wait, so don’t instantly panic if you buy this juice.

As normal, I’m using my Smok R80 Micro with the TFV4 Micro tank and STC coil, running between 50w-80w @ 0.3ohm. The juice is 3mg which and 70VG/30PG.

On the inhale I get an overwhelming fruit flavour, it’s exceptionally complex and very hard to decipher what exactly goes into making this without reading the description. I tried this on a dripper earlier tonight with the same results, it’s very delicious, but very complex.

Exhaling everything becomes a bit more clear, not crystal, but we’re getting there. Peaches, orange and citrus are the dominating flavours, but there’s still some elements I can’t work out. It’s like a liquid version of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans – definitely no earwax flavour though.

I’m still befuddled a few moments after the exhale, but yet the orange and peach lingers on, really great, strong flavours still powering through.

Is the flavour too strong? Perhaps. I don’t feel this is a juice for vaping all day as the BJ website states, but rather a sorbet-esque juice. Something to liven the taste buds and cleanse the palate. A drop kick to the senses and a Rubiks Cube of flavour notes.

If you fancy yourself as a connoisseur of juices, then this would be a perfect buy to keep you busy trying to work out what’s involved in the unique tropical flavour. That being said, if you’re a fan of obvious flavours this juice will frustrate and baffle you in equal measures.

“Delta” by Adirondack

What do we have today?

Well I’ve been kindly supplied with another bottle from Adirondack vapour! Yum!

Let’s get started!! The liquid this time is named Delta and Adirondack’s description of this is – A cornucopia of berry and watermelon with just a slight touch of guava, this fruity blend will remind you of walking through the aisle of a fresh produce market – except now you get to sample ALL the goods in just one breath

From observing the site this liquid comes in 30ml, 120ml and 250ml  quantities and two ratios 60vg/40pg and max vg. Nicotine strengths are 0mg,1.5mg,3mg, 6mg and 12mg. The nicotine strength I have is 0mg and a max vg mix!

Onto the bottle and to me it’s quite quirky as it’s almost shaped to a iceberg like square, Labeling wise is pretty basic and noticed a pet hate of the nicotine strength been written on instead of printed. The background hosts a neutral grey colour with a iceberg type logo which features on there glacial range. All your usual information is there with the warnings and ingredients.

The hardware I’m using for this review is my newly acquired Wismec RX200 and Uwell crown.

Lid up – Predominantly berry both blueberry and strawberry is showing here and no sign of the guava stated.

On the inhale – The inhale begins with a nice juicy watermelon flavour that isn’t too sweet with a rather large hint of what seems to be violet (think Parma Violets or Rainbow Sherbet). There is the lightest of light note of blueberry here, but you could be forgiven for missing it entirely due to the beast that is violet rampaging about during the inhale.

Onto the exhale – The flavours are much more prominent now, the blueberry rears its head once more in tune with the strawberry and guava, the latter of the two gaining some prominence, like a politician landing on the public scene suspiciously a couple of months from election time. The cloud production of this crazy and leaves a nice fresh note in the room!

Conclusion – All in all, a very pleasurable vape. The prominent blueberry and watermelon do define this flavour for the most part, but the great underlying flavours that make up the exhale will finish of this vape for you with great results, quite unique and very refreshing, something I’d recommend for those looking something a little different.

“Iroko” by Cloud Vapor

What do we have today?

Well I’ve been kindly supplied with another bottle from the Cloud Vapor range!

Let’s get started, the liquid this time is named IROKO.

Cloud Vapor’s description – An exotic cocktail of pineapple, juicy peach and Andalusian pomegranate pulp, raised by a cream of coconut milk. A complex and unique potion. Be careful, it’s very addictive!

From observing the site this liquid comes in 30ml quantity only and a ratio of 70/30 vg/pg. Nicotine strengths are 3mg,6mg,12mg. The nicotine strength I have is of 3mg.

Onto the bottle, it’s your standard 30ml cylinder glass bottle so nothing too fancy but hey we’re for the flavour and clouds! Labeling wise is very nice! The background hosts a dark green colour and scale-like detail. After taking a closer look I can now tell it has a leaf type detail and it’s pretty cool looking. All your usual information is there with the warnings and contents, even though most of it is in French, it is understandable.

The hardware I’m using for this review is my newly acquired Wismec RX200 and my Uwell Crown with a 0.25 coil.

Lid up – Wait what? There’s no pipette, unusual but having a spare pipette from an empty bottle so I’m not stumped in getting the liquid out. So after that minor niggle, the aroma I’m getting is so fresh! The same smell you’d get after slicing a pineapple Yum! Not really much else there essence wise so now time for the tasting!

On the inhale – after taking a few inhales I get a tangy berry taste which must be the pomegranate coming through. No sign of the coconut milk it’s promoted to include but may show itself on the exhale.

Onto the exhale – that tangy berry is still there and the pineapple really shows itself making my mouth water as the vapor bellows out leaving a refreshing taste lingering a few seconds after! Was hoping I get the coconut milk taste somewhat in this sample but the pineapple is overpowering it completely.

Conclusion – Would I buy this? Probably not, the flavour and practicality of the bottle has put me off purchasing a bottle but if you love a fruity concoction don’t let my review put you off purchasing a bottle, try it for yourself as everyone has different preferences and my job is to break it down and give you my honest opinion. It really needs to come with a pippete and not a standard ISO8317 cap as other vapors may not have a spare pippete laying around.

“Strawberry Ambrosia” by Nom Nomz

With the sheer volume of liquids we’ve reviewed here at the Belfast Vape Bar, it’s always great to stumble upon a juice manufacture that’s from Northern Ireland. It also means we can expect a rather prompt shipment when necessary 😉

About the Blender

We are an artisan e-liquid company based in Northern Ireland. All of our liquids have been created with great attention to detail, care and a boot load of TLC thrown in. We only use the finest pharmaceutical grade ingredients in our e-liquids, as such they are of the highest quality

We were sent their entire line for the purpose of review and first out of the batch is their “Strawberry Ambrosia” which they describe as “Delicious fresh strawberries covered in Devon’s finest, this one will keep you coming back, time and time again…nom nom” a rather enticing description!

For this review we are using the following hardware:

  • Uwell Crown tank with 0.25Ω dual coil head
  • Evic Mini mod

Packaging for the Nom Nomz line is rather simple where they’ve opted for the standard plastic bottle in their 10ml size, all the necessary warning labels are in place and their logo sitting rather cheerfully in the front and centre.

If we were to see this product sitting on the shelf in a local b+m store, we would not assume that this is a premium product which seem to be delivered in glass bottles more often than not. Although the packaging of a product should never put you off a product hence the old expression “never judge a book by it’s cover” always let the liquid itself do the talking!

Every product in the Nom Nomz line consists of a 75/25 VG high, available in nic strengths from 3-6mg (3mg for this review) and in bottle sizes from 10-90ml.

Got a fresh coil installed on the Crown so now we can move onto the tasting. The Evic Mini is set to 50w and 530f, on the inhale the predominant flavour is a tasty sweet, creamy strawberry which is rather similar to a strawberry milkshake!

On the exhale is where the “Strawberry Ambrosia” flavour really takes off. The same tasty strawberry as with the inhale but a very moreish custard has revealed itself, making this is a very delightful vaping palate. The flavours accompany each other perfectly and with a decent amount of vapour as well.

This liquid has definitely left this reviewer craving more! The bottle was finished just about by the end of this review.

Now, would I purchase this product?

This is a definite yes! Not usually a fan of custard based liquids “Strawberry Ambrosia” was a real eye opener and one that will be purchased again!
