“My Man” by One Hit Wonder

Today I am reviewing “My Man” from the ever popular One hit Wonder series.

It is available in 0,3 and 6mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 80/20.

The manufactures describe “My Man” as:

“Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate. Today, the rich flavours we all love have been expertly blended into a smooth but complex vape that dances on your tongue with different complementing notes from each puff. The surge of nostalgia will leave you looking up and simply saying… My Man!”

My set-up is as follows –

  • Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
  • Dual quad twisted 26g kanthal – 5 wraps – Coming out at 0.13Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Snow wolf 200w – Set to 149w

This juice comes in a 20ml glass dropper bottle. It is also available in 180ml bottles that come with 2 x 15ml unicorn bottles. The packaging is attractive but quite subtle. Im not sure it would jump out at you from a shelf, but it does reflect the flavour and brand very well. The nicotine level is clearly marked and the VG/PG ratio can be found in the small print on the side.

When I opened the bottle, the vanilla scent was the most obvious. I had been expecting the sickening, fake chocolate smell that I have come to expect from any e-liquid that has mention of chocolate in its description.

Inhale – Just like with the scent, the vanilla flavour is most obvious here. The chocolate is almost detectable but not quite. It provides more of a warmth to the vanilla, rather than being present alongside it.

Exhale – The chocolate flavour is the prominent one here, as a chocoholic, I was disappointed that I could still detect that fakeness that quite a e-liquid manufacturers don’t seem to be able to overcome in chocolate. It is subtle and well blended though so it doesn’t render the juice unvapeable. I can’t distinctly pick out the strawberry in either the inhale or exhale. I’m not saying it isn’t there but it certainly isn’t a standout flavour. This, however, makes a pleasant change from the hordes of strawberry/vanilla, strawberry/custards juices out there. In conclusion – This is a lovely creamy vape that I would definitely purchase again. The chocolate tones would rule it out as an ADV for me personally but its certainly something I think most people would enjoy. Vapour production is impressive in my set up, coming close to my own 100% VG DIY juice.

“PopDeez” By Steep Vapors

This juice really appealed to the child in me. As well as receiving 30ml of e-liquid, you also get a surprise in the box! In my case, they included a really nice drip tip.

It is available in 0,3,6 and 12mg nicotine and has a VG/PG ratio of 60/40.

The Blenders describe PopDeez as “awesome caramel popcorn flavour e-liquid.

My set-up is as follows:

  • Dotmod Petri (double airflow cloud cap)
  • Dual quad twisted 26g kanthal – 5 wraps – 0.13Ω
  • Wicked with Rayon
  • Snow wolf 200w – Set to 149w

This juice comes in a 30ml glass dropper bottle. The label is attractive, with an inoffensive colour scheme. The nicotine level is included in the image but there is no mention of VG/PG ratio.

The bottle comes in a matching box that holds the aforementioned surprise!

I have to note here that when I first received this, it smelled, looked and tasted extremely freshly made. There was no flavour to the liquid at all and it still had a chemical type smell. I left the bottle opened for about 48 hours and then replaced the lid and waited a week to try it. The results in this review are based on my vaping it around a month after it first arrived. Even now there is a slight chemical smell to the juice but I don’t imagine it will change much at this point.

Inhale – There is very little flavour detected on the inhale, perhaps a slight creaminess.

Exhale – The caramel and something reminiscent of popcorn do appear on the exhale but it is very subtle. It’s certainly not unpleasant but I think, in a tank, you would struggle to taste anything at all. I switched to the single air hole cap for the Petri at this point and the flavour became a little more condensed but no more prominent.

In conclusion – I’m not sure I would recommend this juice to anyone who didn’t find other e-liquids to be over-flavoured. With a 60/40 VG-PG ratio it wouldn’t be great for cloud chasers either. The vapour production is average. The free surprise gift makes for exciting vape mail but it would appear to be a gimmick to help sell a sub-par e-liquid.

“Devon’s Sweet Slush” by Fusion Vapes

The folks at Fusion-Vapes in Devon were kind enough to send out a few of their juices for us to review. As well as their line of “House Juices” they also stock a fairly substantial amount of hardware ranging from sub-ohm tanks to battery chargers. A one stop vaping shop if you will.

In this review we’ll be trying out their “Devon’s Sweet Slush” which they describe as:

Main flavours: Cool Raspberry Candy Floss

Short and sweet!

For this review the following hardware is being used:

  • Wismec Reuleaux RX200 Mod @ 80w
  • Vapergate Alliance V2 RDA w/0.24Ω dual build
  • RDA wicked with Kendo Vape Cotton

The packaging/label are both very simple, available in 10 (£4) and 30ml (£10) dripper style bottles and includes the ingredients as well as all the necessary safety and warnings.

Devon’s Finest liquids are available in 0. 3 and 6mg nicotine strength and have a 70VG/30PG ratio.

Lid Up – The raspberry seems to be the dominant scent here with “Devon’s Sweet Slush” not much else to report here…

The Inhale – If you have blocked up sinuses or a touch of vaper’s tongue, they won’t be hanging around long after vaping this! Cool Raspberry is a bang on description, nice and sweet but not overpowering. No sign of the candy floss yet though.

The exhale again greets you with the crisp sweetness of the cool raspberry but on a retrohale there was the slightest hint of something a little sweeter, could possibly be the candy floss we were promised earlier but it’s very subtle. A little dash more in the blend and it could really add to the final combination.

Don’t get me wrong, the mix as it sits is enjoyable but the candy floss is almost non-existent in the vape.

Now, would I buy this product? I’m going to say yes, the price is reasonable and it’s a pleasant enough vape. Don’t be put off by the presentation as the saying goes “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. If you’re on the lookout for a sweet, fruit-like vape which packs a punch “Devon’s Sweet Slush” is worth picking up.

How about bringing out a 100ml bottle guys??

“Crunch” by Sleekit Juice

It’s about time we reviewed some more products from Scotland based Blenders Sleekit Juice!

They were kind enough to reach out again and offer more products for us to try out after we reviewed their “Pink Lemonade” which we were very impressed with. The bottle may I add has only a few drops left!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Crunch” which they describe as “a complex dessert flavour with vanilla custard as its base and other goodies layered through it

All of the Sleekit products are available in 70VG/30PG in 0, 3 and 6mg nicotine strengths.

For this review I will be using the following hardware:

  • Snow Wolf Mini Mod
  • Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA w/0.3Ω dual build
  • Atomizer wicked with Kendo Vape Cotton
Crunch Sleekit

Like all products from Sleekit Juice, “Crunch” arrived in a 100ml bottle with a twist to open dropper cap. No bells and whistles with their packaging, just the necessary information and safety warnings. Only downside to their packaging is the handwritten flavour, nic and VG/PG ratio but we won’t hold that against them.

Lid Up and “Crunch” doesn’t give too much away from the initial smell but hopefully the vape will tell us more…

As mentioned above, I am using the Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA with an extra long drip tip from The Drip Dip Store so that a longer pull from the atomizer is possible without overheating. The inhale is rather subtle but dessert like notes are present, almost  a biscuity, shortcake base-like flavour.

The Exhale – Now the vanilla that was promised by the Sleekit has made an appearance. Not a sickly or artificial tasting vanilla either! There is definitely a vanilla cheesecake vibe to “Crunch” the biscuit-like base compliments the vanilla for an all round pleasant vape and one that I could personally use all day!

Would I buy this product? I’m going to say yes, “Crunch” is an awesome All Day Vape and the price is too good to pass on!

“Glazed” by Glas E-Liquid

Glas E-Liquid is a line of liquids I’ve been eager to try for quite some time now. They were kind enough to send out their entire line for us to review (as well as some promotional materials which will be given away at our next Vape Meet).

Today we will be reviewing “Glazed” the line of Glas E-Liquids is available in 60VG/40PG in 30ml bottles with 0, 3, 6 and 12mg nicotine strengths.

The blenders describe “Glazed” as:

A baked sugar-glazed butter-pastry, Glazed by Glas Vapor is a delicious doughnut inspired flavour with notes of Madagascan vanilla bean to finish.

The first thing I noticed with this line of products was the very suave packaging. A frosted 30ml bottle with a wax-like seal holding the lid to the bottle. There is a small label on the base with a list of ingredients and the necessary warnings.

For this review I used the following hardware:

I chose the Aromamizer RDA for this review as it’s my favourite dripper for flavour (at the time of review) cloud chasers out there mightn’t really be that into it but for flavour, this atty is really on point! Donut juices are definitely a flavour I’ve come to appreciate over the past few months and are getting better with the every brand we’ve had the pleasure of trying out.

Lid Up – “Glazed” welcomed me with a sweet vanilla aroma with sugar like undertones.

Time for a vape! The RDA is freshly built with some Kendo Vape Cotton thrown in there. The inhale shows off that Madagascan Vanilla as promised in the description, with quite a few vanilla flavoured juices I have noticed that there is quite often a chemical/artificial like taste with them. Thankfully the folks at Glas have gone the extra mile and nailed that flavour down!

The Exhale – Delicious! A vanilla sweet donut vape you are. The dough-like flavours mixed with that sweet vanilla combines for a truly scrumptious vape. I have to say that “Glazed” wouldn’t be an all day vape for me personally but still nice if you’re in the mood for something different. With this being a thinner VG based liquid, it will also vape very well in current as well as previous generation of tank atomizers with the same great flavour.

Now, would I buy this juice?

I’m going to say yes, the folk at Glas truly do have a passion for their work and have put the effort in so that you get the best possible experience with their products. The flavours are there with just a touch more throat hit than the heavier VG based liquids.

“VIII” by C.R.E.A.M

Today we are reviewing “VIII” – a premium e-liquid that is produced by California-based manufacturer, C.R.E.A.M At present, VIII is the only flavour that they have available – and boy does it seem to be popular.

C.R.E.A.M boast a symbol of quality on their website, highlighting that their long steeping times and use of the finest ingredients have resulted in this e-liquid being of the most premium standard. Certainly, the strawberry and cream-based market is huge – one needs to stand out in some way in order to tap into this customer base effectively.

Where C.R.E.A.M immediately do stand out is in their packaging – there is something extremely classy about this labelling, with the manufacturer’s name boldly emblazoned across the front of the bottle. The product’s appearance definitely does convey their premium standard to the consumer.

Although a U.S. manufacturer, C.R.E.A.M e-liquids are available for purchase in Europe through their official UK/EU distributer, Vivd Vapes. At present, VIII is available in 30ml bottles at nicotine strengths of 0mg, 3mg, 6mg and 12mg. They are produced in a VG:PG ratio of 70:30.

The manufacturer has described the flavour of VIII as a ‘rich and buttery vanilla pound cake, doused with decadent whipped cream, topped with vine ripened strawberries.’ Whilst strawberries and cream has been done extensively by numerous premium manufacturers, the part that caught my attention was the inclusion of the vanilla pound cake. This sounded like an interesting spin on the traditional flavour profile, and I was excited to give this e-liquid a go.

I’ve been vaping this over the past few days at a strength of 3mg. It is wonderful, seriously. The vanilla pound cake adds a great amount of depth to the light, sweet flavour that the strawberries and cream would normally produce on their own. The richness of the cake comes through strongly, with just the right balance of sweetness added on the exhale by the strawberry. The creaminess of the vape is superb; there is fantastic body to this and the amount of vapour produced is impressive.

If you are a lover of the sweetness of strawberries and cream, but want something that can be used as an ADV without becoming sickeningly sweet and with a lot more depth, then VIII is definitely a flavour that you should get to know.

“Creme Anglaise” by Craft Vape

About the Blenders:

“Craft Vapes is a Los Angeles based company founded in 2013. Our quality e-Juice has been meticulously hand crafted to the highest of standards to produce flavors for every taste and occasion.”

Today we’re reviewing their “Crème Anglaise” which by the description below sounds absolutely divine!

“Inspired by the dessert sauce of the same name, is a rich, double vanilla custard. The perfect combination of cream, sugar, and vanilla bean makes this e-liquid a sweet and creamy treat.”

For me personally, custard flavoured vapes can be hit and miss. There are just too many custard flavours out there with a synthetic, almost chemical taste to them. Of course, there are exceptions and when done well custard vapes are a staple amongst vapers worldwide.

“Crème Anglaise” is available in 30ml & 60ml in 50/50 and 30ml in max VG.

For this review I’ll be using the following hardware:

  • IPV4s @ 80w
  • Alliance V2 RDA w/0.2Ω dual build

Lid Up – “Crème anglaise” welcomed me with a delightfully rich vanilla essence which makes promises of an equally pleasant dessert flavoured vape.

I also tried Crème anglaise in a tank based atomizer because of the 50/50 ratio but surprisngly I still preferred it in an RDA, the flavours are much more pronounced. The inhale boasts a rich creamy vanilla which was promised from the initial Lid Up and did not disappoint.

On to the exhale. The lavishness of the custard has emerged and blends so well with the sweet vanilla. Definitely a liquid that can be vaped all day (as a matter of fact I did) Also a plus with this liquid and kudos to Vivd Vape for including on their site is that “Crème anglaise” is diacetyl free!

Now, would I buy this liquid? I most certainly would! A 60ml bottle is required as soon as possible, as well as one from their Cloud Chasing range as I’m rather curious how the flavours develop with a higher vegetable glycerin ratio.

As mentioned before the Craft Vapes line is available from Vivd Vapes via the link below and be sure to take advantage of the discount code “vivd8” for 8% off your order:

So, returning from a gig and I need something bright and refreshing for a quick pick me up. Spew is touted as a watermelon flavour with mixed fruits and berries, available in coloured or uncoloured varieties. Is this liquid it? I certainly hope so!

After popping the cap off this and giving it the usual cursory sniff, I was greeted with a bottle note of watermelon, carrying with it a rather pleasant crispness to it. However, as I sat with it for a moment to try to ascertain anything else, I couldn’t help but notice that this liquid carries with it an odd, chemical-y taste with it.After the curious, cursory sniff, I loaded up a tankful and gave it ago. After the curious, cursory sniff, I loaded up a tankful and gave it ago. Unfortunately, it was far from pleasant, an overpowering chemical-y taste which bordered on offensive was all I was able to taste. Even worse, on the retro hale I was greeted with a recognisable taste, a blatant taste, it tasted like how window cleaner smells. It isn’t very often I am greeted with Windolene in an e-liquid!

Unfortunately, I was unable to continue vaping this in order to see if it evolved down through the tank, the flavour was just that offensive and I was thoroughly displeased with this liquid. I even came back to this after leaving it to steep for a good while and still, no improvement. Definitely not a liquid I could recommend.

Definitely not a liquid I could recommend.

After a busy morning of university, head banging, chasing my dinner across the hills and glens with an axe in my left hand and a boom box blasting Amon Amarth, nothing is more metal than settling down for pudding with a liquid called German Chocolate Beefcake.

Hopefully, this liquid will fill a hole in my metal lifestyle…
Right off the bat, the bottle note of this liquid is nothing short of decadent, a beautiful warm caramel scent draped over the deep, almost tart tones of dark chocolate. I couldn’t resist returning to indulge in the scent again. The bottle note definitely sets the bar high for this liquid. Unfortunately, the initial few puffs proved to be a disappointment. Instead of the indulgent caramel, coconut and chocolate I was expecting, I was greeted by an offensive smoky taste, as if I had burnt the cotton in my coil, after fresh cotton, priming for an hour and returning to it, I was still greeted with this abhorrent smoky flavour.

“Cloud Batter” by Cloud Vapory

Hey guys welcome to another review from Belfast vape Bar. Today we are looking at a competition grade liquid by Cloud Vapory. This particular liquid is called Cloud Batter and it’s description is very straight forward

“Cloud Batter is like sticking your finger into a bowl of creamy fresh vanilla cake batter.”

So let’s take a closer look.

When I received the bottle I took a second to have a glance over it and the first thing that caught my eye was that it stated that it is a competition grade liquid. Reading over it states that it is a 95% VG liquid. Being a bit of a cloud chaser myself it got me quite excited and instantly I thought to myself I need to get a good build going and hit this stuff hard on a good old mech mod. Labelling wise this is a very plain unicorn bottle with some large bubbly writing on it along with your generic info that all good liquids should have.

Today you’ll be saying hello to my little friend the Noisy Cricket.
With the phenotype-L RDA
Using a .2 nichrome build
And Kendo Vape Cotton Gold Edition which may I add is a very nice cotton and a current fave (review coming soon)

Dripping this stuff onto fresh cotton I do get a very heavy vanilla smell from it which I have to say smelt so good at the time. Firing it I getting a very nice plume from my wick. Let’s juice this up more and hit this bad boy. Initial vape yesh it’s all there. This is a very straight forward flavour like I said earlier but I think it makes it very nice. But I have to give it to these guys the vapour production is top notch. This is your standard clouds for days liquid. You wanna hotbox a room it won’t take long with this stuff. A very dense thick cloud every time.

I have to be honest though. I vaped this a lot and now that I’m half way through the bottle the flavour appears to be all but gone! I don’t get any vanilla anymore, I don’t know if I’m just used to it or what’s going on but yeah I don’t get any vanilla anymore. Apart from that negative point I’m very satisfied with it. Always looking for something that will give a good cloud and this hits the nail on the head.

Vapour Production 10/10 competition, grade it is indeed. Big plumes
Flavour 6/10 I would have given this a better flavour rating but it’s gone, I simply don’t get vanilla after vaping maybe 15ml.
Presentation gets an 8/10 the guys could have done more with the label but everything stands out.

Thanks guys Shakey out
